On April 23, 2026, the policy dialogue continued at the Embassy of Romania to Belgium in Bruxelles, bringing together partners, policymakers, and community voices to reflect on the Brussels discussions and the next steps for equitable cancer prevention in Eastern Europe.
Hosted by Ambassador Andreea Păstârnac, and joined by Dr. Domenti Oxana, WHO Representative at the European Union, the evening conversation continued with the Romanian community in Brussels, connecting health diplomacy with implementation science.
The event reinforced the same message: that implementation matters, and that local evidence from the Lerești Living Lab can help shape practical, scalable solutions when research, policy, and communities work together.
